EXPLORING BALANCE IN MODERN LIVING
THROUGH THE
ARTS AND ECOLOGY
WE INVITE YOU TO EXPLORE BALANCE BETWEEN PEOPLE, PLACE, AND PURPOSE
HAPPENING NOW
The relentless pace and systems of modern life have created fractures, disconnecting humans from the land, natural cycles, and communities that sustain our well-being. Through the arts, architecture, and design, we reflect on these imbalances and explore ways to restore harmony. By bringing together professionals, scholars, and local residents, we foster dialogue and generate ideas in the Texas Hill Country, inspiring change that resonates beyond our region.

Phase 1 of construction at our co-founder's ranch is currently underway, while design begins on Phase 2. This property is owned and managed by our founder, but will be available for use by La Cuna Center free of charge.

University of Texas School of Architecture students use La Cuna as a field station for site-specific research in their summer design studio.

Restoration work continues at the ranch as we study various approaches to prairie management.
